Pastor Chuck & Marianne Cannizzaro

Senior Pastor & Women's Ministry Leader

Pastor Chuck and Marianne have been in full-time ministry for 39 years. They met in 1983 when he was a sales representative for Johnson & Johnson, and she was a sales representative for Sony. They fell in love and dated for 10 weeks. They got married in 1983, and their son Charles was born a year later.

Pastor Chuck loves people and thrives on seeing them serve the Lord with gladness. He desires to see the Holy Spirit move in the services and in people's lives for transformation and healing.  After Pastor Chuck had been in ministry for 20 years, God opened the door for him to be the Senior Pastor at New Heart Foursquare Church, where he has served for the last 15 years. Pastor Chuck holds his Bachelor of Arts degree from Cal State Long Beach and a Master of Arts degree in Strategic Leadership from Life Pacific University.

Marianne leads the Women's Ministry at New Heart and the graphic arts work. She holds her Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from Azusa Pacific University.

Pastor Charles Cannizzaro

Youth & Young Adults Pastor

Charles accepted the Lord as his personal Lord and Savior when he was five years old. He loves volunteering his time helping the youth and young adults at New Heart develop their own identity in Jesus Christ and connect with the power of the Holy Spirit in their lives. New Heart's youth ministry is called The Big Bold Christians because Charles has a heart for encouraging the youth to be bold in their faith and to choose God's best plan for them in their lives.

As the youth and young adult pastor, Charles began volunteering simply because he saw that the youth had no one to take them up to summer camp, and he cared so much about them that he insisted on organizing all the youth and going up with them to summer camp. He then went up to winter camp with them and started organizing lessons and fun outings for them to hang out and develop community with each other.

Charles was born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley and graduated from UC Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He also loves watching Dude Perfect videos and volunteering with the Vacation Bible School program at New Heart Foursquare Church.

Ron Johnson

Praise & Worship Leader

Ron accepted the Lord as a senior in high school when he was invited to a Christian concert. He knew then that this is the life he wanted to live–dedicated to the Lord–and he said in his heart that he would love to be able to sing for the Lord as well. Since then, Ron has led worship at various churches and Christian groups and sang for the Citrus College singers as they traveled to various churches.

He came to New Heart Foursquare Church during our Christmas program in 2019 called "The Road to Bethlehem" and sang songs depicting the birth of Jesus. For the past seven years, Ron has been the featured singer at the Mission Inn in Riverside, and he has a Facebook page called "Music for Your Day."

When COVID-19 hit in 2020, we called on Ron again to lead praise and worship for us on the lawn and now that we are having church indoors he is adding members of his band to join us. We have welcomed him into the New Heart family and appreciate that he is using his gifts and talents to be a blessing to us.

Margaret Almaraz

Children's Ministry Leader

Margaret has been a Christian since she was 15 years old. Her grandparents took her to church and prayed for her while she was growing up. She went with her friend to the Baptist church and attended a high school winter camp. When the altar call was given, she didn't know she was supposed to ask Christ into her heart. Once she realized this, she wanted to make it public in front of everyone, so she did. Today, she serves the Lord by ministering to the New Heart children and teaching them the Word of God.

Professionally, Margaret taught for 32 years in the Mountain View school district of El Monte, California. God used her to present Christmas plays, so the children and families could hear about the Lord. She attended Cal State Long Beach for her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and for her teaching credential. Margaret also received her Masters in Education with a reading credential from Cal Poly Pomona. She still likes to help children learn if they have a learning disability.

As the Lord fills Margaret with His spirit, she continues to work with children and is open to the Lord's leading as she ministers in song. She is married to her husband Mando, and has four adult children.

Bill Randazzo

Audio/Visual Ministry Leader

As a young child, Bill grew up going to Neighborhood Christian Fellowship in Covina with his family. He has since re-discovered the value of God's Word and the importance of serving in a local church community. Bill loves staying connected to his family at New Heart and has a determination like no other in making sure that any and every job gets done right both at work and in church. He graduated from UC Riverside with a Bachelor of Science degree and loves playing video games in his spare time.

Bill is also passionate about computers and works in information technology at Kaiser Permanente. He has transferred his skills from information technology to help us at New Heart with our audio/visual ministry. Bill is exceptional at trouble shooting and can basically solve any problem we encounter from an annoying buzzing sound to independently designing our Facebook and YouTube simulcast during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are deeply indebted to Bill for all his knowledge and hard work.

Rosie Gonzalez

Ministry Assistant

Rosie comes from a Christian background since childhood. As a young teenager, she was involved in the church choir and was also a part of a young girl's praise and worship team. Recently, she served in the usher, choir, tape, and phone prayer ministries. At New Heart Foursquare Church, she currently serves in the women's and children's ministries.

As our Ministry Assistant, Rosie assists Pastor Chuck & Marianne with special events and projects at the church, and she brings people with her wherever she goes. She also started a very successful Bible study at her work during lunchtime, igniting spiritual growth in the lives of many of her co-workers. Her goal is to succeed spiritually and to continue to reach out and minister to friends, family, and anyone she meets out in the street.
